Lock the Door & Stay Inside

There were no plans to write and record new material during the year of 2020. After my previous release, I put together my band “The Seething” comprised of myself and 2 other incredible musicians, Haydn & Ashim, who were excited about the prospect of going into a professional studio and re-recording our favourite songs that I had already written. We had scheduled the recording sessions for April. Obviously this did not pan out.

Locked inside my apartment for days on end and placed into furlough for upwards of 3 months, There was nothing to do except pick my guitar back up and write some new songs. Songs to stave off the boredom. Songs to help process everything that has been happening. Songs to hopefully one day look back on and remember how surreal this whole experience has been.

We will eventually make it to the studio but for now, Here are 4 songs written during government imposed lockdown.
