About
Houses are often full of memories stored near machinery: things created or captured, and then set on floors and shelving to live in the company of furnaces and water heaters, until the time comes to recall them. As a child these machines are enormous and intimidating, but with time you begin to associate the clanking and humming with a sense of gentle familiarity.
Spinning Voices’ 4th album explores textures and experimentation not seen previously in his work. Samples, noise, improvisations, and rougher synth tones give the album a sense of diving into the unfamiliar and unknown.
