welcome to the 6th Annual Nicky Flowers Summer Single!

boy what a summer. what a year! what a fucking decade. 2020 has been rough on all of us and a major moment in my life during it was moving away from Chicago.

i had just started to feel like it was my home and through various events and goings-on, it made more sense to move away. a lot of those emotions are pretty darn present on this year’s A-side, making it one of the most dynamic of my 2020 songs.

the B-side is a chiptune-y version of Christopher Cross’ yacht rock classic “Sailing”, which is about sailing and how cool it is to be doing that.
